Extremely disappointing stay for Umrah—far from Haram, poor service, no cleanliness Dates of stay: 2nd-4th January 2025 Rooms: two separate rooms booked for family Review: We came for Umrah with family and stayed at this hotel, hoping for a restful base, but the experience was very poor. Location and convenience The hotel is much farther from the Haram than expected, which added long travel time and extra fatigue for our family, especially after prayers. Service and hospitality Reception staff and hospitality were not helpful. We reported a flushing issue in both rooms on the first day. Despite notifying the concerned staff, nothing was fixed the same day. We had to wait until today with no proactive follow‑up or clear timeline, which is unacceptable when basic room facilities are broken. No one seemed to take responsibility or show care for the customer’s problem. Cleanliness and housekeeping Rooms were not clean on arrival. Housekeeping was missing or completely inadequate during our stay; rooms were left unattended and not refreshed. Overall impression This was not the restful, supportive stay we needed for Umrah. Between the inconvenient location and the lack of basic service, maintenance, and cleanliness, we cannot recommend this hotel and will seek better options next time.
