Reem or Muse: which assistant fits you?
Reem and Muse both take on tasks from a chat. Reem is a contact you message on WhatsApp, in any country, in your own Arabic dialect or in English. She makes PDFs, slides and sheets, books flights and hotels with a payment link, and sets reminders, all in the chat. Muse is Meta's personal agent: it works on its own secure cloud computer, in the Muse app, on muse.ai and in WhatsApp. As of 28 October 2026 Meta lists it in the United States and Singapore. Choose Reem if you're outside Muse's countries or want help in your own dialect. Choose Muse if you're in one of its countries and want an agent that works across websites for you.
Message Reem on WhatsAppFree to start. Reem replies on WhatsApp.
Where you use it
- Reem: in WhatsApp, as a contact you message. Also in a browser at reem.chat/app once you've messaged her. No app-store app yet.
- Muse: in the Muse app (iOS, Android), on muse.ai, and "directly in WhatsApp", per Meta. Meta says AI glasses are "coming soon".
Where it's available (as of 28 October 2026)
- Reem: anyone with WhatsApp, in any country. Made in Saudi Arabia.
- Muse: Meta's announcements list the United States (from 8 September 2026) and Singapore (from 27 October 2026). Check Meta's newsroom for newer countries.
Languages
- Reem: Arabic, in your own dialect, and English.
- Muse: Meta's launch posts don't list languages.
What each one does
- Reem: makes PDFs, Word files, slides, sheets, images and short videos and sends them in the chat. Finds and books flights and hotels with a payment link. Compares prices across online stores. Sets reminders. Reads your photos, voice notes, files and links. With your connection and your OK, she can work in your Gmail and Google Calendar.
- Muse (per Meta): "doesn't just answer questions, it actually does the work". It opens a browser, fills out forms, negotiates for you, helps with email and scheduling through connected apps, and books travel and shops through partner services. Checkout uses Link by Stripe.
Safety and control
- Reem: asks for your yes before sending an email or making a payment, and you can make that a hard rule she can't skip: tell her "never send or pay without asking me". You pay through a payment link that shows the amount. A login you save goes through a secure link, is never guessed, and is only ever sent to the site you saved it for.
- Muse (per Meta): runs on "Muse Secure VM", its own cloud computer. It "checks with the person before sensitive actions", has "no visibility into people's passwords or payment methods", and shows "a complete audit trail".
Price (as of October 2026)
- Reem: free to start. Personal is SAR 29 a month (USD 9). Creator and Business plans are on reem.chat/en/pricing.
- Muse: Meta says it's "free for most of what people need, with subscription plans for people who want to do more". Meta's posts give no plan prices.
When Muse is the better pick
- You're in the US or Singapore and want an agent that operates websites on its own computer, end to end.
- You want it tied into Meta's apps and, later, Meta's AI glasses.
- You value a full audit trail of every step it takes.
When Reem is the better pick
- You're in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf or anywhere outside Muse's countries.
- You want to talk in your own Arabic dialect, by text or voice note.
- You want the file itself (a deck, a PDF, a sheet) sent back in the chat, or a hotel or flight booked with a payment link.
