FAQ
What is Reem?
Reem is an AI assistant you message on WhatsApp, in Arabic or English. She answers questions, reads photos, voice notes and files, makes documents, slides, images and videos, sets reminders, compares prices, and helps plan and book travel. Her website is reem.chat.
How do I start?
Open WhatsApp and message +966 13 510 4514, or +1 646 266 2184 from outside Saudi Arabia, or tap the button on reem.chat. There is no waiting list.
Is Reem free?
Chatting is free. Paid plans start at SAR 29 (USD 9) a month and add bigger allowances for images, videos and documents.
How is Reem different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a general assistant you use in its own app or website. Reem lives inside WhatsApp, the app many people already use all day, and is built to finish tasks there: she sends you the PDF or slides as a file, sets reminders in your chat, sends emails for you, and books flights and hotels with a payment link. ChatGPT is very good for long research and writing; Reem is built for everyday tasks in your chat.
Which languages does Reem speak?
Arabic, in your own dialect, and English. She replies in the language you write in and can answer in other languages too.
Can Reem make files?
Yes. She makes PDFs, PowerPoint slides and Excel sheets and sends them in the chat, and she can edit a file you send her. Arabic slides are right-to-left by default.
Can Reem book travel?
Yes. She searches and compares flights and hotels, and can book them with a secure payment link. She always confirms with you before anything is paid.
Can Reem order food or groceries?
Not yet. She cannot place delivery orders on apps like Jahez or HungerStation. She can compare product prices and order items from online stores for Saudi addresses.
Does Reem make phone calls or message other people for me?
No. She does not make calls, and she only messages people who have messaged her first. She can send emails from your Reem mailbox with your OK.
Is there an app?
Reem works in WhatsApp, and in a browser at reem.chat/app once you have messaged her on WhatsApp. There is no app-store app yet.
Is my data private?
Chats are encrypted in transit and at rest, and Reem does not sell your data. You can ask Reem to delete your data at any time. Some conversations may be reviewed to improve Reem, and you can object to that.
Who makes Reem?
Reem is made by the Reem team. Contact: team@reem.chat.
