Saif Al Majd Hotel

We arrived around midnight, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Three gentlemen were at the reception, and all of them were extremely respectful, friendly and welcoming. A bellman was also available to carry our luggage both at check-in and check-out. We were provided with a parking permit for our car, which was very convenient. During the daytime, the female receptionists—Ms Taif, Ms Wajd, although I may not have remembered her name correctly, and Ms Reeham—were also very polite and respectful. Ms Taif, in particular, treated us with exceptional courtesy and professionalism. Mr Ridwan from housekeeping was extremely helpful and looked after us very well throughout our stay. The room was clean, and the housekeeping team regularly replenished the water bottles, tea and coffee sachets, shampoo, soap and towels.Please remember tha this is a large and busy hotel, with many guests arriving and departing throughout the day. Therefore, if anything is needed, it is better to speak directly to the housekeeping staff, who are willing to assist. Mr Ridwan would also personally ask whether we wanted the room cleaned and made sure that our requests were handled properly. The hotel is conveniently located near the Haram, approximately an 8–10-minute walk away, which was manageable for our family. We initially stayed for four days and later extended our booking by one additional night. Upon our request, we were allowed to remain in the same room without any difficulty or unnecessary questions. The hotel has around 18 lifts, if I remember correctly, and even during peak hours, we did not experience any significant delays. One of the hotel’s most impressive features is its spacious mosque, located on a dedicated floor. This is especially useful if someone is unable to go to the Haram, as they can offer their prayers without leaving the hotel building. Overall, our family was very happy with the stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is comfortable with an 8–10-minute walk to the Haram and values respectful staff, attentive housekeeping and convenient facilities.
