Absolutely disgusting! We booked our hotel for Umrah. The lobby was fine. As soon as we got to the Elevators, we realised something was off, and as soon as we got to our rooms we realised we couldn't stay here. White shower curtains were orange with dirt. It looked like they had not been changed for a long time (maybe 6+months). The shower tray was 1m x 1m which meant every time you showered, the dirty shower curtains stuck to you. The staff's solution? To not use the shower curtain and let the water spray all over the toilet and the floor instead, and then swipe all that down into the guttering. The gutter cover was lifted off the ground and exposed (easy for kids to step and fall in) and a disgusting smell came out of it. There was also rust around the bidet spray. The floor had stains on it; the bed sheets had stains on them; the towels had stains; and the headboard has stains on it. The fridge had not been bleached - parts were yellow, and other parts were white. The key cards didn't work either. The staff tried cleaning the carpet stains with a hoover (obviously not going to work). We asked for a new room, it had the same problems. The service staff acknowledged the hotel was terrible and should be clean at the very least, and but there was nothing they could do, as they only work there. We stayed the night we arrived because it was already late, cancelled and got a refund from booking.com, and booked a new hotel for the rest of our stay. One service staff member did help us move to our new hotel down the road, which was nice of him. Trust me, don't stay, and if you do, get the refund and book a new hotel!
