Open in Google Maps⭐️ Hotel Review – This Hotel Building No. 1703 (Allocated by the Indian Hajj Committee) ⭐️ 😔 This hotel (Building No. 1703), allocated by the Indian Hajj Committee, was unfortunately one of the most disappointing parts of our Hajj journey. 💧 Drinking Water Issues The biggest concern was the lack of basic facilities. Drinking water was a constant problem across all 20 floors. Depending on the floor, only 1–3 water dispensers were provided for thousands of pilgrims, and many were frequently empty. For a building housing approximately 2,500–3,000 Hajis, this is simply unacceptable. 🚿 Water Supply Problems The washroom water supply was also unreliable. On several occasions there was little or no water available for bathing and basic hygiene. Many pilgrims struggled to take a bath before departing for Mina during the Hajj days. 🛗 Poor Lift Services With only four lifts serving thousands of residents, long queues formed throughout the day, especially around prayer and meal times. Waiting for a lift often took an unreasonable amount of time. 🧹 Housekeeping Concerns Room cleaning, washroom cleaning, carpet cleaning, vaccum services dustings, and bed sheet changes were inconsistent and often required repeated follow-ups. Staff were frequently uncooperative, and in some cases assistance seemed dependent on giving tips. ❄️ Air Conditioning Issues Many rooms had AC units fixed at 16°C without remote controls, leaving guests unable to adjust the temperature according to their needs. 🍽️ Food Accessibility The hotel did not provide catering services after Hajj, and there are very few suitable restaurants nearby. This created additional hardship for pilgrims, particularly elderly guests. ⚠️ Overall Concern It is difficult to understand how this building passed inspection before being selected to accommodate thousands of pilgrims. During Hajj, guests should not have to struggle for basic necessities such as drinking water, functioning lifts, cleanliness, and a reliable water supply. 🙏 I sincerely hope the Indian Hajj Committee conducts stricter quality checks and does not select this hotel again unless significant improvements are made. 🤲 May Allah accept everyone's Hajj, forgive our shortcomings, and make future journeys easier and more comfortable for all pilgrims. Ameen
