Wembar Hotel

Extremely disappointing experience. Within minutes of checking in, I found that the bed sheets were visibly dirty. The staff member who escorted me to the room saw the dirty sheets himself and assured me they would be replaced while I was out. When I returned around 9:30 p.m., nothing had been done. The sheets were still dirty. The room was also unclean, the sink was dirty, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke, the carpets in the common areas were filthy, there was no hairdryer, and I received fewer towels than requested. I spent no more than about ten minutes in the room in total and never stayed overnight. The room did not meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness and hygiene, so I had no choice but to leave the hotel that same evening and book another hotel at my own expense. I reported everything immediately. During the email correspondence, the hotel even acknowledged that the issue with the dirty bed sheets had not been addressed after I reported it. Despite this, they refused to issue any refund and never provided a clear explanation for their decision. Paying for two nights in a room that I could not use, and then being forced to find alternative accommodation late at night, is simply unacceptable. I cannot recommend this property.
