DO NOT STAY HERE — Lied about amenities, rude staff! Exhibition Court Hotel 4, 25 Collingham Place, SW5 0QF, London. On June 26, 2026, I booked a room with air conditioning. When I arrived during the UK heatwave, they had given my room to someone else and put me in a basement room with no air conditioning and no fan whatsoever. In a heatwave. They admitted what they had done but showed zero remorse. While I was there, a walk-in guest arrived asking about air conditioning. I simply told them the truth — that there was no AC in the rooms. The guest immediately walked away without booking. The hotel staff then became aggressive and shouted at me for this. When I asked for a refund for a room that did not match my booking, they explicitly refused — and stated the reason was because I had told the walk-in guest there was no air conditioning. In other words, they withheld my refund as punishment for telling the truth. This is deeply unethical. I had no choice but to leave and spend additional money on Uber to find alternative accommodation, out of pocket for both. This hotel does not honour its bookings, retaliates against guests for speaking honestly, and does not treat people with dignity. Avoid at all costs.
