I do not normally write negative reviews but this seemed poignant as I was not sent request to do so. Very disappointed with my stay but I did get sent a discount for my next one which I will not be using but is very telling in my opinion. Firstly when we entered our small room which was very compact, there was alot of marks on the walls and the desk. You were given very little in the way of anything complimentary, didn’t have our water topped up or milk cartons (we had two for our two night stay). Coffee pod machine wasn’t the best either. There was no where to get ready just a chair with no mirror to look into or on the wall either and bathroom could hardly fit one person in. We went to watch the tv when we came back late one evening and noticed there was no tv remote and also the plug socket underneath the tv did not work either. If you did need to call down to reception you couldn’t as there was no phone to do so. In addition to all of this the lift was very slow as was the WiFi connection. The positives were that the staff were friendly upon arrival but when we were checking out no questions were asked just handed over the key card and left. Had aircon which was needed due to the weather conditions. The bathroom was nicely decorated and breakfast was good but still not a lot of choice. Bed was comfortable but could not walk around it, had to climb over the bed to open curtains which looked on a disappointing view. Sorry to say I will not be returning, never been this unhappy with a hotel before which is a shame in this instance as I visit London regularly.
