2 BR - Elegant Chelsea Stay Near V&A and Hyde Park

The hotel itself and the rooms are lovely and traditional, I booked the garden suite for two nights as I was getting married in Chelsea and it was a bright, spacious room for me & my bridal party to get ready in and the photos in the room look great. I also booked another two separate rooms for family members but one of them was so tiny and definitely not worth the amount of money paid. The gentlemen at reception were so friendly and couldn’t help you enough with your suitcases, they were brilliant and deserve all the credit for us having a nice stay! I didn’t get his name but one of the men came out to our car more than once and offered to take all our bags (there was a lot)! he was so kind. If you’re getting married locally and need a nice room for getting ready then it is beautiful and so close to Chelsea Town Hall but please don’t expect any extras. They wouldn’t extend our check out time even slightly after requesting months ago and then closer to the time as I was told to. Breakfast is not included even when you pay for such an expensive room and they also charged us for bottles of water on checkout. They definitely need to add some extra touches such as chocolates or champagne for the room considering it’s a special occasion. I was so surprised that there was nothing in the room on arrival, not even a welcome note! They did put petals on the bed the evening of our wedding but I’m not sure if this was because we had complained earlier that day. A little goes a long way, especially in a ‘5 star’ hotel. I wouldn’t stay again just as it is very overpriced in my opinion but I am glad we chose to stay in the garden suite to get ready in as I really loved the room and the location.
