Velvet Hotel Jeddah

We stayed at Velvet Hotel expecting a comfortable and refreshing stay based on the pictures shown online, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The hotel is very old, had an unpleasant smell, and many of the facilities were not properly maintained. Even the washroom looked old and poorly maintained. The jacuzzi was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel because the swimming pool was too deep for our kids, but sadly the jacuzzi was not in proper working condition either. The water in the jacuzzi had a bad smell, and when we requested the staff to change or clean the water, they rudely refused and said there was no maintenance available. My children were really looking forward to enjoying it, which made the experience even more disappointing. The photos online make the hotel look much cleaner and better maintained than it actually is. In reality, the hotel did not match our expectations at all, and the stay was uncomfortable for our family.
