Open in Google MapsA hotel with so many, many problems. I asked to keep the room temperature at 25 degrees, but every day I found it changed to 21 or turned off completely. Housekeeping never leaves the laundry bag or the service form to fill out. The restaurant is of decent quality, but the menu never changes, and food is recycled to avoid throwing away what wasn't eaten. It is cold in the restaurant; you can't sit at the table in short sleeves. Housekeeping doesn't check if there is soap in the shower, and the hot water heater is dirty and never gets cleaned. The pool furniture and cushions are covered in pigeon droppings (a major infection risk), and no one cleans them up. The restaurant waiters don't seem to know that dirty plates should be cleared away after the guest finishes eating, not while they are still eating. The breakfast toaster is slow and doesn't allow all guests to toast their bread; it takes ages, and you have to stand there putting the bread back into the conveyor toaster and waiting for it to cycle through two or three times. The annoying thing is that if you stay at this hotel for more than three or four days, the waiters stop saying hello, housekeeping service gets worse and worse, and no one does anything to improve matters. The reception staff are always polite and helpful. The other IBIS—the one on Malik Road—was even worse than this one, with a poor-quality restaurant and all the other problems that no one seems willing to fix. The reception staff are polite and helpful at both hotels.
