I booked 7 nights through an online travel platform and was disappointed with the experience. The location is convenient, but the room furniture is dated, there is an unpleasant smell despite it being a non-smoking room, and the poor sound insulation makes street noise clearly audible. I paid a higher rate specifically for a buffet breakfast. However, at check-in I was informed that the restaurant was closed and that only a limited breakfast of boiled eggs, bread and a croissant would be delivered to my room. This should have been updated on the booking platform before accepting reservations. I have not yet used the gym, pool or spa and will update my review after doing so. Update: The duty manager contacted me and upgraded me to a cleaner room. I appreciate his prompt intervention and the effort made to improve my stay. I will update the review again at the end of my stay based on the overall experience.
