You definitely get what you pay for but I experienced a very strange smell in my room and black mold was present. Keep in mind there is a fire station pretty much adjacent which explains the earplugs they offer at the front desk. Staff are pleasant. I would recommend spending a tiny bit extra for a place nearer to central Tokyo as a tourist. I ended up spending the difference I saved with taxis and transport
