IKIDANE Residential Hotel Komagome

We booked 2 days in advance for a week stay; we received confirmation within 5 hours (if not like 3 hours). It's within a 5 min walk from a train station. There is a combini, small grocery store, pharmacy and several restaurants along the way. If you went out the other exit from the train station, there were several other restaurants as well as other combinis. There is also an old timey sento (public bath house) within 30 steps of the front door. They also have coin laundry machines (they were 50 yen higher than the coin laundry next door) so you can take a long relaxing bath while doing laundry. When we checked into our 4 bed room, there was dust covering the ends of the rails. I'm sure there was dust on the bunks as well, but at this point, I didn't care. The rooms are very reasonably priced. Much less than a similar sized hotel room. The fact that we can actually open all our suitcases at once made this room feel large. We were on the 3rd floor; there is no elevator. The door has electric button locks so you don't need to jockey 1 key between your room mates. The mattresses were comfortable and had clean sheets and blankets on them. The room had a mini fridge. There also was a small electric kettle as well as 4 plastic cups. There was 1 luggage rack and a piece of plexiglass that was the perfect size to put on top to use this as a makeshift table. There also was a small (30?35" like a large computer monitor) tv. There was a small and large towel, body soap, shampoo and conditioner as well as slippers provided. There was a large (like 13g?) recycling and garbage bin. The ac blew cold though there was a funk at first. The unit also had a "ion" mode, I think it purified the air? There were outlets and lights by each bed. There was no service provided, so if you stayed a week like us, you just had to reuse the towels or you can go launder them at the coin laundry next door. There was construction nearby when we stayed, but otherwise, it's in a residential (I think) area so it was quiet. Great value for your money. Can't complain.
