Hotel Tokyo Garden Palace has an older, classic feel, but I found it comfortable for a stay in Tokyo. The room had the basics I needed, including a fridge and a private toilet and shower, though storage was pretty limited. It was also convenient for getting around, with the metro close by and plenty of shops and restaurants within easy reach. The reception team may not have much English, but they really made an effort to help.
