My mom and I stayed at Hotel Comfact for four nights and really enjoyed our time there. While the hotel is quite simple—there’s no pool, hot tub, sauna, or gym—it felt cozy, clean, and comfortable. The location is convenient, about a 550-meter walk from the Iriya exit of Ueno Station, and also within easy reach of Iriya and Uguisudani stations. As others have mentioned, the rooms are on the smaller side. With just carry-on luggage, my mom and I managed fine, but travelers with larger bags might find the space a bit tight. The beds were very comfortable, and the daily room cleaning was excellent. The hotel sits on a quiet residential street, yet you’re still close to cafés, convenience stores, and restaurants. Overall, it’s a great choice for a peaceful, well-located stay in Tokyo—I’d definitely recommend it.
