I am a considerable admirer of Dormy Inn whenever I have the pleasure of staying in Japan. They offer an in-house onsen, their renowned soba noodles for an evening snack, ice creams, and their locations are typically very convenient. The rooms are simple yet perfectly adequate, so one should not anticipate a large or luxurious space. They are designed in a traditional Japanese style, clean, well-maintained, and offer excellent value for money. I consistently book directly through their website as it tends to be more economical, and their team is very responsive and accommodating towards tourists.
