Alwadi Touristic Resort

Al-Wadi resort in Al-Shafa left much to be desired during our recent stay. While the location offers some redeeming qualities, the overall experience was disappointing. The resort's setting in Al-Shafa provides decent scenery, with views of the surrounding landscape that are pleasant enough. The location itself is okay, offering a retreat from busier areas. However, these modest positives are overshadowed by significant shortcomings in the accommodations. The rooms at Al-Wadi are in dire need of attention and proper maintenance. Upon entering, it was immediately apparent that cleanliness and upkeep were not priorities. The furniture showed signs of wear and tear beyond what one would expect, and the overall state of the rooms felt neglected. Basic amenities were lacking or in poor condition, detracting from any comfort we hoped to find. Perhaps most concerning was the state of the kitchen facilities. For a resort that presumably caters to guests looking to prepare their own meals, the kitchen fell woefully short. Appliances were outdated and barely functional, while cookware and utensils were limited and in subpar condition. The cleanliness of the kitchen area was questionable at best, making meal preparation an unappealing prospect. While the staff seemed friendly enough, their efforts couldn't compensate for the resort's fundamental issues. Al-Wadi has potential given its location, but until significant improvements are made to the rooms and kitchen facilities, it's difficult to recommend. Travelers expecting basic comfort and cleanliness would be better served looking elsewhere for their stay in Al-Shafa.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
