Voyage Apartments

We just finished a three-night stay that was, quite frankly, a nightmare. Severe Health & Odor Issues We booked a non-smoking room, but the unit was saturated with the stench of old cigarette smoke and a foul "off" odor. It felt like the previous guest had smoked heavily inside, and management didn't bother to deep-clean. This wasn't just unpleasant, it caused chest pains and severe respiratory discomfort for us and our children. Midnight Construction Noises To make matters worse, we were subjected to the sound of renovations and drilling as late as 2:00 AM. Expecting guests to sleep through construction noise in the middle of the night is absurd and completely unprofessional. Poorly Equipped Units The room logic was also non-existent. The unit provided plates and dining utensils, yet there was no dining table or surface to eat on. It’s hard to understand the point of providing kitchenware if you expect families to eat on the floor or the beds. The Bottom Line Between the unbreathable air, the lack of basic furniture, and the 2:00 AM construction, this was one of the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. Location is good though.
