Broken air conditioning in our room meant the room was over 40 degrees C! We were provided with a fan that did absolutely nothing, so we had to move to another hotel at 10:30PM as it was unsafe for our child to sleep in that room. In addition, the staff were absolutely useless in any effort to resolve the issue or provide a refund. The day staff then happily told us this was a known issue, so this hotel knowingly falsely advertised having air conditioning during a massive heat wave. Add to this the incredibly rough neighborhood, the very dingy feel to the fit and finish of the hotel, the questionable cleanliness, you’d have to question how this slum was given three stars.
