My family and I stayed at Hôtel de la Motte Picquet for three nights in late May 2026, and we had a wonderful experience. My husband found it through the Rick Steves Paris guide, and it did not disappoint. It’s located in the Rue Cler neighborhood, which is beautiful and very family friendly, and it’s about a 15-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. It’s also very close to a Metro stop and tons of delicious restaurants. The hotel was quaint and very clean, and the staff was so kind and helpful. We did not pay extra for the breakfast, because there are so many easy food options nearby. There are four of us (two adults and two teens), and we opted for two rooms with two single beds each. Our rooms were on different floors, but that was not an issue for us. The rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable, and there is an A/C unit in each room, which we appreciated because Paris temperatures were very hot—way above normal—all three days we were there. We would definitely stay there again!
