Open in Google MapsOne of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We booked for two nights but left after the first—despite the hotel refusing to refund us. The room was dark, cramped, cold, noisy, and reeked of cigarette smoke from the patio. All ground-floor, first-floor, and second-floor rooms open directly onto a narrow patio sandwiched between tall buildings, allowing almost no natural light. Upon arrival, the reception room felt claustrophobically small and gloomy. At night, I was freezing and constantly disturbed by noise and cigarette smoke. The patio serves as an access point for a nearby Airbnb building, so people gather there to smoke and chat. Since the room door is an interior-style door with gaps, it does little to block out cold, noise, or smoke. I tried turning on the heating, but there were no radiators, and the air conditioning was loud. The next morning, we went to reception, and they offered to move us to a room on the third floor—the only floor with interior access. The new room felt even smaller. Also, the hotel has no elevator, and the steep stairs were a struggle with two large suitcases and a small one. I seriously doubt that any of the rooms actually measure the 16m² advertised on Booking.com. The website photos do not accurately represent the size of the patio or the rooms. Additionally, the patio is cluttered with bikes and construction materials.
