Stayed here for Hajj with Universal Express. The entire building has this weird seepage smell. The building looks recently renovated but the trash dump right at the hotel entrance and the overwhelming damp smell in the entire building especially the washrooms is off putting. Location was supposed to be ideal because of it being near the jamarat escalator but the police has put up barricades so you have to walk a lot to come back down so not really an advantage anymore. The buffet is served in the basement which made the dining experience cramped and suffocating. Overall a below average experience for the premium price paid.
