Askant Golden Hotel

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this hotel. I booked the room at 6:00 AM, and although the reception staff told me it would be ready by 10:00 AM, I agreed and left my luggage to go for Umrah. However, when I returned at 12:00 PM, the room was still not prepared. It was in a very dirty condition — bedsheets and pillows were unclean, and the washroom was also dirty. Basic amenities like soap and shampoo were not provided. Another major issue was pricing. On their website, the room price was shown as 150, but at the counter, they charged me 250, which is completely misleading and unfair. The hotel facilities were also very poor. Out of two lifts, one was not working, and the other had faulty buttons, causing inconvenience. The behavior of the reception staff was extremely unprofessional. A Saudi lady at the reception showed a very rude attitude, ignored complaints, and was busy watching YouTube with earphones instead of assisting guests. After finally cleaning the room at night, the hotel staff themselves forced me to change my room three times, saying each time that the room was already booked. I never requested any room change. This caused unnecessary disturbance and inconvenience after a long day. Overall, this hotel has very poor management, unprofessional staff, misleading pricing, and zero customer care. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
