A nice hostel, and my go-to in London. It's a bit out of the way, but a short walk to Rotherhithe (for Weaver line) and Canada Water (for Jubilee line), and a bus stop outside, keeping you very well connected. Like the majority of UK hotels/ hostels, the room was very hot in summer, but unlike other YHAs, there were lots of fans and opening windows. Dorm rooms are quite large, with 10 in a room (YHA don't advertise or allow you to pick a room size), but there are free earplugs provided, and I experienced no issues. My room had two showers and two toilets, en-suite. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and there's a good food offering, as well as a large self-catering kitchen and lounge. I would highly recommend this hostel, just come prepared for hot weather and a bit of a commute into the city.
