The highlights were definitely the helpful hotel staff and the location, just meters from Paddington Station. Considering the area, the price is very reasonable. The rooms are quite small, but the bed was comfortable and the cleanliness was impeccable. They have rooms with air conditioning, but they don't list them on booking websites, not even on their own official website. They charge £10 per day for the A/C, which I gladly paid because I really suffer in the heat. However, I don't think it's right to keep this unlisted. It's not just about being able to guarantee an air-conditioned room beforehand, but also because these extra charges should be made transparent in advance.
