Unbearably hot with no air conditioning. Very expensive for an almost unusable room. I stayed at the end of a heatwave. I was on the sixth floor. The room was so hot, and even with two fans made for an uncomfortable night. The window barely opens so it doesn’t cool down. My fault for not checking about aircon before I booked, I stupidly assumed it would have it. For the price it was not good value for money. If you can, don’t book saver, I would have changed hotels if I could have. Travelodge is a bit like a cheap airline, every little extra costs more. The room was nicely decorated and clean but I would not stay again in the summer. It is a ten/fifteen minute walk from Kings Cross.
