What guests say

Had a mixed experience with this hotel, fantastic location and some really great people that are working here Tyanna and Caterina literally saved my life after a combination of functional and neurological seizures meant that I needed an emergency evaluation. There was a miscommunication between the hotel and Airbnb concierge thay booked me into the hotel on the wrong day. This meant having to take a power nap in the gym across the road rather than having a proper rest before a stressful family funeral. A less experienced member of the reception team was unable to find my booking and to my understanding thought I was lying about having a room at the hotel because of a cultural misunderstanding about a payment card. I was sent in the ambulance to the hospital which triggered an epileptic seizures, and spent a day recovering and needing police intervention. Once the seriousness of the situation was fully realised to hotel sprung into action and the service has been top level. Whilst I was upset to miss a day with my family (I currently live outside of London) I was very grateful to Tyana and Caterina who sprung into action and saved the day. I have a few different seizures and it can be difficult even for medical professionals to tell the difference - these women were fantastic and should be leading the training moving forward on guests with disabilities. I couldn't have asked for better guidance, they were professional, solutions focused and extremely compassionate. I would recommend if there are any disabled travelers coming to the hotel to personally request either of these wonderful women, as they really know how to keep calm in a situation! It would have been a 5/5 review if not for the miscommunication at the front desk, and some issues within the communication for people with cognitive impairment / seizure disorders - but think it's an easy fix that can be solved with some more training around epilepsy, autism and functional seizures.
