We arrived from Canada at around 10:00 PM at our accommodation in London. As soon as we entered, we realized that it was nothing like what had been advertised. It was not the apartment we had booked. There were no large windows, no bright sunroom as shown in the listing, and the property was dark, dirty, and had a terrible smell. We had paid CAD 2,500 for this accommodation, but it was completely different from what was promised. When we complained, the host insisted that this was the correct property and refused to help or offer any refund. Because I was traveling with my daughters, our safety was my top priority. We immediately left the property and checked into a hotel that same night. We were extremely disappointed and felt misled. I strongly warn other travelers not to trust this company. In my opinion, this is a fraudulent operation, and Booking.com should remove this property from its platform to protect future guests. They kept our money even though we did not stay there. Their business practices appear designed to trap guests into losing their money, and our experience was unacceptable.
