Open in Google MapsWe arrived at the hotel early and asked if we could drop our bags off which the staff said we could. I have a party of 8 people coming off of an 11 night cruise so we have a lot of luggage. They said we could just leave the luggage in the front lobby... right where everyone walks in and out. We already thought that was weird, but we agreed. We asked if they had any luggage tags as most hotels do since we dropping our luggage off early. They said no and to just leave them towards the middle of the lobby. We left and figured, oh well, if someone takes the luggage, they take it and we could file a loss for it. We returned later after 5 to check in and it was 90 degrees inside the hotel. Outside was cooler than that entire hotel. I'm from Florida, so I am fully aware of what hot air feels like. I asked if they had air conditioning which they said no and that the rooms had windows and fans... The rooms had a small fan and 1 small window as two members went up to inspect it, not just use the restroom as the hotel will argue with me. There's absolutely no way we could stay in that type of hot humidity especially when my father in law is battling cancer. We found a separate hotel and asked for a refund given the situation. They just said I could request it through Booking but no guarantee (which the hotel will argues that we were immediately denied the request) and reminded me multiple times that AC was not advertised. Yes, I will give them that it's not advertised but there was absolutely nothing they offered to help resolve the situation other than tell us there's a window and a fan, not even a partial refund. I asked for the manager and the guy working the desk just called to speak to the manager and no manager would actually come out to speak with us (hotel claims he was the only one working on property). I'd like to include that although the hotel claims such incredible reviews, the separate hotel we booked which DOES have AC (hotel said none of them in that strip have AC), mentioned this happens frequently where guests cannot stay in that heat and seek rooms elsewhere or guests arrive to check into their room a little late and the property ended up giving their room to someone else. Seems like the hotel doesn't want to accept feedback, nor help guests, and this is a common trend for them. Charge you, you're unsatisfied when you arrive, leave to stay elsewhere, and it's easy money for them. Highly DO NOT recommend this hotel.
