On our first day in London, we set out in search of a proper local pint and stumbled across this absolute gem of a pub. Without a doubt, it’s one of the most authentic and characterful pubs I’ve ever been to. What really stood out was the crowd – plenty of locals enjoying a drink after work, which gave the place a genuine neighbourhood feel and exactly the kind of atmosphere you hope to find when visiting London. If you’re not sure what to order, just have a chat with the staff behind the bar. They know their beers inside out and are more than happy to point you towards something that suits your taste. We did exactly that and weren’t disappointed. Great pints, brilliant atmosphere, and that unmistakable British pub charm.
