Extremely disappointing experience. I genuinely do not understand how this is considered a five-star hotel. During our stay, construction work directly outside the hotel continued throughout the night. The drilling was so loud and intense that the beds were PHYSICALLY SHAKING. We stayed on the third floor and could literally see the heavy construction machinery working right outside our window. None of us could sleep properly. I personally barely slept the entire night. What made it even worse was the completely unprofessional response from the hotel. I called reception several times asking for a solution. I was repeatedly told that it was “government construction” and that the receptionist could also “feel the shaking.” I understand that the hotel does not control government construction, but WHY IS THAT THE GUEST’S PROBLEM? I paid the hotel for a room where I could sleep. Providing a reasonably quiet and usable room at night is the absolute minimum I expect from any hotel, let alone a five-star one. And the solution? Earplugs. Hello?? Earplugs do not stop a bed from physically shaking. Reception also told me they would speak to the construction workers, but nobody followed up with us. I had to call AGAIN because the situation was really unbearable. Only then was I told that the construction would apparently continue until 2 a.m. As if 2 am is somehow an acceptable time for hotel guests to finally be able to sleep. To sum up: No room change. No meaningful solution. Unprofessional service. No proper follow-up. No compensation at all. This was the worst experience. 5-star prices should come with 5-star service, or at the very least, A ROOM WHERE YOU CAN ACTUALLY SLEEP. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. Please do NOT waste your money here!
