What guests say

A member of the staff was incredibly disrespectful/racist to me after happily chatting with other guests of his same ethnic identity. I was very hurt by his comment, and decided to have a conversation with him. My intent was not to get him in trouble by any means, as I am not a bitter person. He was immediately dismissive, defensive and kept trying to make excuses. Manager intervened and apologized on his behalf, and only then did he offer a forced "sorry." The restaurant has decent service but again was disappointing. Ordered a steak medium rare and it was incredibly chewy and tough, I could not even take more than a few bites. I didn't complain at all but the waiter asked me why I didn't like it. When I told him it was chewy he told me I should have ordered it medium instead of medium rare if I didn't want it to be chewy. I left and tipped anyway. Room was fine, walls are very thin. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is not in their "in-group."
