Open in Google MapsWent on a school trip to Greenwich Market. Visiting on a Tuesday morning meant we were able to enjoy the market at a relaxed pace, with its calm, chilled atmosphere allowing everyone to explore comfortably without the usual weekend crowds. The market offered an incredible variety of stalls, showcasing everything from handmade crafts and unique gifts to artwork, clothing, jewellery, antiques, and souvenirs. Students enjoyed browsing the diverse range of items for sale, discovering the creativity and character that make Greenwich Market such a popular destination. One of the highlights of the visit was the impressive selection of international food stalls. The delicious aromas filled the market as students had the opportunity to sample a wide range of cuisines, from freshly prepared street food to sweet treats and refreshing drinks. There was something to suit every taste, making lunchtime an exciting part of the day. After exploring the market, we took a pleasant walk to Greenwich Park, where the students enjoyed their lunch in the beautiful surroundings. The warm sunshine and lovely weather made it the perfect setting to relax, chat with friends, and unwind. Some students also made the most of the open space by organising a friendly game of football, while others simply enjoyed sitting on the grass and taking in the views. Overall, the trip was a great success. The combination of a vibrant yet peaceful market, delicious food, beautiful parkland, and glorious weather made for an enjoyable and memorable day and a greater appreciation of one of London's most iconic destinations.
