UPDATE - HOTEL CLOSED, IN ADMINISTRATION - BUT STILL BEING ADVERTISED! Dreadful hotel! How is it possibly 4 star? Stayed on the 3rd floor and the lift wasn't working, not a good start. We booked a "Club Room", it's supposed to be an upgrade of the "Classic Room". However the room is tired with dilapidated furniture. Some fixtures and fittings are broken or missing. Front door hinges are shot, bathroom door drags on the floor and some wiring is looks terrible. £135 per night in London isn't too bad, but not for this hotel. Before booking, please check the various review sites.

- Over the years, the building has housed a school as well as the hospital that saw the birth of mathematician and Enigma code breaker Alan Turing. Guests can enjoy a short stroll down the scenic canals or head to the city center, which is reachable in less than 15 minutes by tube.
- The rooms are embellished with traditional dark wood furniture and antiques. All beds are wrapped in soft Egyptian cotton linen.
- Due to COVID limited services are being offered at the moment. Guests can also enjoy the Tea House restaurant at the Colonnade, featuring an airy and light ambiance where a vast glass roof lets the daylight stream in.
- Warwick Avenue Tube Station is just 2 minutes’ walk away from The Colonnade, and Lords Cricket Ground can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. Just a 4-minute walk, the beautiful Regents Canal has a puppet theater, a floating art gallery, and a variety of restaurants.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
