The Black Lion Pub & Boutique Guesthouse

We stayed here for 2 nights for weekend in london including the women's world cup final at lords on sunday. A week before received email asking about dietary requirements Day before link to check in We arrived met , checked in seamless, member of staff took our bag up the stairs . Showed us to our classic king room, where free water was kept The room was beautiful, each of the 11 rooms are individually decorated. The room had walk in shower bathroom, AC , Wardrobe with hair dryer and hand steamer, coffee,tea Plenty of plugs, bed side lights The bar and restaurant are lovely mixture of modern touches and original decor The bar snacks and food is Indian influences small plates , which were excellent, a nice touch was against some of the items were suggested matching drinks which woukd compliment the food. We had poppadoms, barjis, chicken curry with nan and marinated pork ribs , all food was well cooked and very tasty. Breakfast which was included is continental with selection coffee, tea, juices, youghurt, cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, crossiants, ham, cheese It wasnt very busy , has a small outdoor terrace Overall we had a pleasant stay, staff couldn't do enough to help , food and accommodation was excellent, I have no hesitation in recommending this place .
