Open in Google MapsI am extremely disappointed and concerned about the experience my niece and her two female friends had with this accommodation provider in London. They booked on the understanding that the three of them would be sharing a room together. However, upon arrival, they were told that two of them would instead be placed in a room with unknown adult males. This was completely unacceptable and, in my view, showed a serious lack of regard for guest safety and basic safeguarding considerations. When challenged, staff repeatedly stated that “this is our policy,” but they were unable to provide the policy, explain where this arrangement was stated, or justify why three young female guests who booked together were being separated and expected to share with men they did not know. Thankfully, I was able to secure alternative accommodation for them for two nights, as I was not prepared to allow my niece to stay in those circumstances. This was poor practice from start to finish. The lack of explanation, accountability, and concern for the safety and comfort of young female guests was deeply troubling. It left the impression that profit was being prioritised over guest welfare. This matter will be escalated until a satisfactory outcome is achieved. As an accommodation provider, you should be ashamed of the way this situation was handled.
