Worst hotel customer service experience. The heater in my room was broken and kept blasting at maximum power even when switched off, making it impossible to sleep. Despite having available rooms, the receptionist refused to move me until I managed to prove the issue with a video, otherwise he didn’t believe me. At midnight, I was finally given a new room (in the basement..), the night before an important conference. This completely ruined my short trip to London and forced me to cancel my plans the next morning. For the price paid, this is absolutely unacceptable, and the rooms are also generally not in great condition.
