I was really excited for the stay, as I am beer lover and just love a good pub and was genuinely excited for the experience. Sadly it was not a good one: * Showers and bathrooms were absolutely filthy and clearly not cleaned once during our stay * Rooms were very hot - to be fair that was probably the case in 90% of hostels that day * Service: the first employee was simply very slow but nice / the second employee was simply rude, unfriendly and just added new rules to the list every time he was taking to us and although we stuck to all of these was still very unfriendly * Breakfast was promoted on website and booking and was not not possible * They had a card with offers like cask ale 50% off - upon asking it was not possible to provide and it was not applicable to another beer * We decided to leave one night early and requested a refund - instead they refused our claim - nice enough of booking.com that they provided us a refund nonetheless after hearing our story

Publove will not tolerate any abuse directed towards any members of our teams and we will not hesitate to prosecute anyone who tests this policy. Every guest who is barred, for any reason, from one Publove hostel pub, is automatically barred from all Publove properties.
