I can't give super high marks for the room. The rooms are simple and slightly dinghy, if I'm honest. However, the location and value for money is impossible to beat. If you want five stars than this is not your place but if what you're looking for is a comfortable place to sleep in the best location possible for sightseeing I would highly recommend you give this place a chance. St Paul's Catherdral, The Tate, Shakespeare's Globe, Tower Bridge... all walkable from the hotel. And the Borough Market is right on your doorstep, a foodies paradise. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how quiet we found sleeping at night. Our room was in the bridge over the entrance way to the hotel and we thought for sure we'd be up all night with the sound of revellers, but we didn't hear a peep.
