Norfolk Inn Paddington

This is just a 3* boutique hotel, rather than 4* as rated. Location : perfect, just a short few min. walk from Paddington Station and is mostly flat. There are also some restaurants & eateries nearby, which is convenient. Hotel : small, and the walkways to the rooms are very narrow. I was given a basement room, but they changed to upper level for me upon request on the next day (as though they had anticipated that). There is a restaurant onsite, but other than that, there is no other facilities. Rooms : some are right in front of lift (which is very old school, slow and small) and rooms are not sound proof. Sounds from corridor can be heard quite clearly from rooms. One positive point is that rooms are faced away from traffic, so at least there is no traffic noise. I got an executive double room which cost approx. £600, which is not worth the $$. Would be good be hotel can provide complimentary bottled water & room slippers.
