Mason & Fifth - Westbourne Park

I’ve based my review on the room as this is the area you are situated the majority of your time. The staff were great and the location was also. However, the room, although very clean and stylish on first impression, it lacked the basics which was really frustrating. I had a 2 night stay but was only provided with one breakfast tea bag – which I have to be honest, tasted strange. Appreciate you can’t please everyone drink wise but it would have been considerate to at least provide enough for the duration of the stay. The other issue was only oat milk was provided. Personally, I’m not vegan so would have liked to have seen dairy milk available in the fridge also. There were no bottles or cartons of water provided either so it was either tap water or a trip to the shop which again was another frustration considering the price of the room. Water is a very basic expectation when you’ve paid to stay somewhere. The TV just didn’t work at all, but thankfully I had my iPad with me to watch something in the evenings. The toilet roll on the dispenser was half used and had, what I can only presume was, the previous guests wet fingers imprinted onto it which made me feel like the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned or checked properly. All in all, hotel is really nice on first impression, but for the price there were some very basic things missing which really let the whole stay down.
