Open in Google MapsI am writing to raise urgent concerns about stifford centre, which is currently receiving public and charitable funding, including from Tower Hamlets Council. This organisation is being run by individuals who consistently demonstrate unprofessional conduct. Based on my direct experience as a service user I believe the organisation is failing to meet basic standards of governance, service delivery, and integrity. Specific concerns include: Unprofessional management: Staff and leadership have acted in ways that are dismissive, misleading, and inconsistent with the organisation’s stated charitable purpose. Encouragement of fraudulent practices: Users have been pressured or advised to provide false information, misrepresent eligibility, sign incomplete forms, etc. in order to access services or funding. Risk to public funds: As a recipient of council and charity funding, the organisation has a duty to operate transparently and lawfully. The current practices put those funds and public trust at risk. I strongly urge Tower Hamlets Council and all other funding organisations to reconsider continued funding of stifford centre until a full, independent investigation is carried out into its operations, financial management, and staff conduct.
