Open in Google MapsIgnore that dumb ahh last review, this accom is great. The question isn't 'should I go to this accom', it's 'can I go to this accom'. It's notoriously hard to get into. Consider yourself lucky if you do. I stayed in Block 1 from 2025/2026. I was initially apprehensive about it after seeing the pics online, but I was greeted to an impeccably clean and pleasant room on day 1. The bathroom is a bit odd but you get used to it. Consistent hot water. Maintenance is top notch and gets things sorted ASAP. Staff are polite and quick with parcels and other issues. The kitchen hob is ELECTRIC, NOT INDUCTION. You're welcome. The social scene is great, plenty of life in the accom (maybe a bit too much sometimes, look out for Ministry Tuesdays), and there's a nice, recently refurbished common room. Also a free gym, but it's missing some stuff so you might wanna go London Bridge lol. The area in general is REALLY pleasant, quiet and safe, strolled around at night multiple times with no problems, beautiful trees line Great Dover Street, and there's a Sainsbury's literally right opposite. There's also a Lidl down the road, but trust me you'll cave into using the Sainsbury's. I used to Forest bike to campus, so Strand was a 10 min bike ride. Guy's was a 10 min walk. Too convenient. I'm going to Angel Lane next year, gonna miss this accom. Farewell GDSA!
