Due to the summer season, we had to book well in advance. I booked in April, and there weren't many good-priced options available anymore. I confess that when I chose the Duke of Leinster, I was apprehensive because it was rated 3 stars. But the hotel far exceeded my expectations. There were four of us, and although the room wasn't large, it accommodated us very satisfactorily. We had an initial problem with the shower water temperature, which was promptly resolved. The hotel offered daily room cleaning, and while the breakfast didn't have many options, it perfectly met our needs. I'd say it's a convenience that greatly helps with daily planning. The hotel's location couldn't be better – a very safe area, with several food options nearby and easy access to transportation. We had an initial administrative issue because I paid for the stay with a debit card instead of a credit card, but this was also promptly resolved by the management staff. I will definitely stay at the Duke of Leinster again whenever I need to return to London.
