YOU WILL BE SCAMMED. This is NOT Shoreditch House, they are in an ongoing legal battle and consistently posing as the real Shoreditch House to get people to book, I talked to the hotel and they said they have people coming in daily thinking they booked at the hotel when in actuality it’s for HSH Shoreditch House, it’s on the same street five minute walk away and they only recently within the last couple months added the HSH to the name, there’s other reviews under different company names like d8house where other guests confirmed they got scammed. They wouldn’t let me cancel when requested. When I sent them my video of proof of the scam they said they would reconsider my request but that I had to leave the property and only if the room was rebooked would they consider refunding me and couldn’t tell me how much they would refund so I guess they really want to see how many times they can scam you. Then they stopped cleaning the shared bathrooms for several days in a row and I had to ask multiple times for them to clean. They said they are cleaned every day but trash and dirt would stay in the same exact place up to three days in a row. I had the displeasure for staying for two weeks straight. The bed is not even a mattress but a thin pad maybe four inches thick with a metal bed frame that will leave bruise marks on your back. The room was dirty, dusty, I found a large bottle of lube behind the tv and I don’t even want to know why at this point. Agoda did not care at all and are the 3rd party booking company that is linked to the real Shoreditch House on Google and redirecting your booking to HSH Shoreditch House. Also none of the rooms match the ones offered on the listing page. It is quite literally worse than a hostel. I have proceeded with legal action since Agoda and HSH Shoreditch House are fraud, scammers, and ultimately not providing the services that they market themselves to have. When I first called the property manager they said I made the mistake booking and when I asked if others had made this mistake before she even admitted one or two guests have, what the real hotel said was that it happens more like 1-2 times DAILY!
