Cheap and Cheerful! Better Than Expected! After reading so many terrible reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. You really do get what you pay for, and in this case, it was more than fair for the price. The staff were absolutely lovely, always greeting me with a smile each day and happy to help whenever I needed anything. That made a big difference and added a really nice touch to the stay. I had a room on the top floor which, yes, was a little damp and could have been cleaner in places, but it was perfectly comfortable for the week. The tea and coffee station was well stocked, and cleaning was offered daily, which was great. For the brilliant price and the excellent location, I’d happily stay again. It’s not luxury, but it doesn’t pretend to be. It reflects the cheap price paid and for me, it was just right. Cheap and cheerful!
