Cleveland Residences Bloomsbury

Stayed for 6 nights here. What we liked: air conditioning was perfect (!!), which during a heat wave in London is essential. Laundry room was readily available and convenient. Location was top notch - easy walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and convenience stores (within a half mile radius). In room safe was also handy and worked well. What didn't work as well for us: the fold out bed is not at all comfortable. Also, for a family of 3 we understood this was a self-care room rental but we did not expect to only be able to get clean towels every 3 days. That becomes an issue because the towels provided are just the cheap run of the mill hotel towels that never dry. So, unless you know where to purchase towels while there, you will be stuck with a very thin, wet towel every time you shower. Same goes with hand towels. We did request more but were informed we could only have them after 3 days of stay. We also ran out of toilet paper (they brought a couple of rolls when we asked and then we purchased our own to be safe from there) and our last morning there, the hand soap ran out in the bathroom. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and the things we didn't like didn't prevent us from having a great time - but just little things you may want to be prepared for if you stay.
