What guests say

The location is obviously great. Central London, right beside a tube station. But I feel like that’s the only main positive to consider with this hotel. The room was quite dark, and I don’t mean aesthetically. Not quite like other pictures on the website, which honestly left it disappointing and underwhelming, especially considering the price and it apparently being a five star hotel. The bed was comfortable at least. The mini bar was pay per use, with a credit card hold during the stay. No other amenities associated with the hotel. I was vaguely aware of this when booking, but it was even more basic in person. The entrance was also quite hard to find on the first day, the sign is very discreet and it is situated in a busy alleyway beside a tourist attraction. We were given a complimentary free in their sister bad Thirteen. We wished we didn’t bother. The cocktail was nice, but the staff were not friendly or welcoming to us, even though they knew we were hotel guests. Definitely not getting value for money, nor does it deserve a five star in my opinion. Only reason I’d consider this hotel again is the location.
